Fleetwood is a lovely place with lots to do for everyone.
There are historical buildings to see and explore in a town laid out by the famous architect “Decimus Burton”.
There are attractions like the Marine Hall and Gardens where there are free public events held throughout the year, and indoor entertainment from tea dances to some famous musical names, comedians and more besides.
If you like animals and you’ve got little people, or big ones! to entertain then you’ll enjoy heading along to Farmer Parr’s.
Fleetwood Museum is a beautiful old building in its own right and home to some fascinating exhibits that guide you through the past of this historic town. There’s also a lovely little coffee shop and a gift shop which sells not just seaside trinkets and nice gifts, but also local books and unique things which you won’t easily find elsewhere.
There’s plenty to do without spending any money too. Go crabbing in the seafront boating lake, take a walk to the top of The Mount and enjoy the spectacular views, and of course there are miles of beach to enjoy too.
Everybody will be able to find something to entertain themselves here – whatever your taste there is something that you can find to do to pass ten minutes or ten hours – the list is endless!

The town centre is home to some good shopping, and don’t forget Freeport Fleetwood. In easy walking distance of the end of the town centre there’s a good range of stores to chose from.
If a natural environment is more your thing, there are parks all over the town which you’ll find under ‘About’, and for the utmost in gorgeous views you don’t need to head any further than the seafront. With sunsets to make you go ‘oooh’ all year round, the promenade is a perfect spot for a stroll and a sit, and you can spend many a happy ten minutes just looking across the water.
